Services
Three kinds of work, all on farms and commercial sites. Prices are starting points; every job gets an itemised quote. All prices on this site are demo values.
Cool rooms and commercial refrigeration
Service visit from $220
What’s included
- Cool room and walk-in freezer repairs: compressors, fans, door seals, controllers
- New cool rooms, and moving existing ones during a renovation
- Refrigerant leak testing and recharging, under a refrigerant handling licence
- Temperature alarms that send a text when a cool room starts to warm up

A Daylesford café’s walk-in freezer iced up every week. The defrost timer had failed; it was replaced on the first visit.
Three-phase and shed power
New three-phase circuit to a shed from $2,800
What’s included
- Three-phase supply upgrades, including the application to Powercor
- Power to sheds, workshops and pump sites, underground or overhead
- Circuits for welders, compressors, lathes and milk vats
- Switchboard upgrades in older farm buildings
A dairy near Learmonth added a second milk vat: a new circuit and a switchboard upgrade, wired between the morning and evening milkings.
Maintenance plans for commercial sites
A fixed schedule of checks, with a written report after each visit. Plan clients’ breakdowns go to the front of the queue.
| Plan | What’s checked | How often | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refrigeration check | Cool rooms and display fridges: temperatures, door seals, coils, refrigerant level, alarm test | Every 3 months | $180 a visit |
| Compliance check | Test and tag, safety switch (RCD) tests, emergency and exit lighting, with a logbook for your insurer | Every 6 months | $240 a visit |
| Both, on one visit | The compliance check and the refrigeration check together, with refrigeration-only visits in between | Every 6 months | $380 a visit |
What we don’t take on
Saying so up front saves you a call.
- Wiring for new homes
- Solar panels and batteries
- Split-system air conditioners in homes
- Domestic jobs under an hour: we’ll suggest a local electrician who does them
